The Simpsons Banned in China

China has banned The Simpsons from primetime TV. The government has also made it illegal for networks in the country to show Pokemon and Mickey Mouse cartoons between 5pm and 8pm in the evening. The decision to remove the imported, but hugely popular, cartoons is part of a move to protect China's domestic animation studios.
